1. What we use

WallyMetrics uses a small number of cookies and browser-storage entries to run the app:

• Authentication cookie/token — keeps you signed in. Strictly necessary; the app cannot function without it.
• Local preferences — small entries in your browser's local storage for choices like your theme, onboarding completion, and interface preferences.
• Analytics — privacy-conscious product analytics events (for example, page views) that help us improve the app. These do not contain your research data.
• Checkout (Stripe) — during payment, Stripe may set cookies to process and secure the transaction. Stripe controls these under its own policies.

We do not use cookies for advertising, and we do not use third-party ad trackers.

2. Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Blocking the authentication cookie will sign you out, and clearing local storage resets your interface preferences.
